こんにちわ ー Hi and welcome. I'm Est, a 21 year old designer and illustrator who fangirls Arashi very much in my own way. My favourite members would be Ohchan and Sho because it's practically impossible to pick only one whom I like best. As a big shippo shipper of Ohmiya, I tend to also have a soft spot for Sakumiya and recently, Yamapair :) Yes, I'm that greedy ^^

Jan 2010 // This journal - to which I've finally had the sense to migrate all my Arashi entries from my personal blog; a huge favour I believe to some other readers - will be the place, from now on, where I share my Arashi fanart and the occasional fail!fangirl posts.

If you hadn't heard from me on your journals or on mine for a while, gomen ne >.< For the past month or so I'd been busy with freelance work, determined not to distract myself by doing Arashi art until the work is all done. In the meantime I still managed to catch up with lots of older ANS/HNAC episodes, though missing out quite a bit on the recent fandom news.

A lot of things will go unsaid, but to celebrate the shipping of my 5x10 DVD (YES!!!asia) which will hopefully arrive in a day or two, and since I haven't posted any illustration artwork for ages, I'll offer you a visual treat of Ohchan aka *SQUISHCHEEKS* <3 lovingly referenced from the May issue of Wink Up.



Not a lot different from the original photo, but it was somewhat styled after the cover of a Japanese book I'm currently reading entitled Rental Children. Oh also, I'm surprised I sped up in my digital painting, which would normally span for days and weeks, and end up under piles of mushrooms in the folder. In case you're wondering, this took me 5 hours on Photoshop with a tablet.

After Araoke with silverfa and sakuratikah last month, my dear stalkers are gonna turn up at my house one day have a blast of an Arashi 5x10 viewing session <3 It's coming!!

The funny thing is, half of this entry was written in 2008 and completed only now. Most of the details have already become fuzzy, but thanks to the AAA 2008 DVD we get to live through their wonderful Kokuritsu performance again and again. Written because.. I owe myself -_- and it wouldn't make sense to write about 5x10 if I haven't finished this.

Arashi no Shukudai-kun episode 169 with JyaruJyaru as guests. Oh what can I say 8D That was the funniest episode in recent weeks; I totally love it when Nino hypnotises Sho *awwwwww* - particularly when he's an unknowing victim. Sho's blatant statement 『借りてたビデオ無くしちゃった』sparked off the spate of unwanted confessions and implications :D Now the whole world knows that Aiba shares his MILF porn with Ohno and Sho(and he managed to lose it somehow). Oh my fish.

Tremendously inspired by yesterday's episode (1 Feb) of Arashi no Shukudai-kun; it happened that my internet was lagging so I missed the good parts. By good I mean YAMA-DANCE ZOMG <3 The addictive shoulder-bumping and cute jiggling *dies*. For the longest time I thought that Ohno and Sho had the least chemistry out of the pairings... APPARENTLY NOT HUH. (and, whoa, they totally pwned Aimiya....)

Because Yamapair is random like that <3 <3 <3 And they make random sexy XD

Thanks to silverfa for uploading the snippet. Hora hora, it's the new Sunny Sho!! *in other words, it means this will be the new video to loop to death*

Nino's trying-too-hard-to-sexy-dance-in-front-of-Aiba-dance brings back my traumatic experience of seeing his POT-BELLY fill the humongous screen during their 5x10 Nagoya finale MC. *facepalms*

And I think Jun, being the DoS that he is, secretly loves making Sho do things; or else why would he give up on his narration and - 「音楽かけて音楽」 - order for the music to play yet again? XD

I know it's been long overdue - one year, spell y.e.a.r - the concert report for the finale of AAA 08 in Shanghai, but heck! Without finishing it, I'll owe myself another one *with a kazillion and satozillion moments worth spazzing about*, that is Arashi's 5x10 Anniversary concert in Nagoya Dome~~~~~~!!! Finale show :D This is so thrilling - the mental image of meeting them upfront again in Jappoland - that I might just pass out from an Arashi overdose at the concert XD

Saigo no Yakusoku『最後の約束』was so mindblowing that I think I just lost my brain. It's in a gooey splatter all over the floor right now, after imploding and then exploding in a megatonne worth of Arashi fireworks; incoherence ensues. *keysmashes until my fingers cramp; which thereafter shall be continued with the forehead.*

FOR silverfa 8D *GAHAHAHA* I hope this makes it even more impossible to get this crack moment outta your head, simply because you made me laugh too hard yesterday. Revenge. LOL.

From the epic episode - epic because I've watched it more than 10 times in, idk, 4 days?.. and still counting - of Arashi no Shukudai-kun「なりきり80秒トーク」。For this part of the impromptu 80-second talk, Arashi turn into blondies speaking with a fake gaijin accent about the given topic (good points about their fellow members). 片言 Katakoto means to speak with a smattering of a language.

Sho [pic] あ、後は何だろうな、じゃだれにも一人（引く?）話聞くかな。★ Ah, what's next.. So, I wonder if we should just talk about one person for now (don't know for sure lol)..

When I'm brain dead from the lack of sleep and subsequently being hyped up over the top, when I watch Arashi crack, this is the sort of nonsense you'd get. I actually enjoy drawing ugly *coughNOSEScough* things. Nino is too awesome for coming up with that line. XD

Happy 29th Birthday to Ohno Satoshi

the incredibly cute artist ^^ Ohchan - and everything about him - never fail to surprise. Oldest in Arashi yet blessed with a *grumpy* baby face; he's such an enigma. I love the way he dances so perfectly, sings with a beautiful and distinct voice, makes all sorts of expressions that tugs at heartstrings, spaces out way too often and has a vocabulary limited to one word when made to comment on food, and the fact that his brain is filled with awesomely weird ideas. <3

The digital painting took 2 days, based on Ochan's figurine idea from his FREESTYLE art exhibition series. What's unlike his personal image is that he seems to have been strongly influenced by the African-American culture and music, which can be seen throughout his entire collection of artwork. Looking through his artbook, inspiration hit and at the spur of a moment, I turned Ohno into one of his figurines.

I've actually a more elaborate plan for this thing 8D Let's just wait and see how it will turn out.
